Overview
The project was an online integrated digital marketing campaign for my own site, https://www.yellowcloudonline.com/, on behalf of client Yellow Cloud. The overall goal was to build my brand as the top Freelance digital marketer in Calicut by maximizing online visibility and interaction with a dual strategy: performing technical and on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to create better organic rankings, and creating an active social media presence to create brand awareness and generate qualified traffic to the site.
Challenge
The site initially had poor online visibility, with minimal organic visits and minimal interaction. A key problem was the absence of an SEO base, which meant the site wasn’t ranking for key local terms such as “Freelance digital marketer in Calicut.”
Without optimized meta tags and website structure, visibility was limited. Additionally, there was no set social media strategy to showcase my portfolio, network with the Calicut local business community, or drive followers to the website, wasting ample potential for growth.
Solution
To address these challenges, I made a full SEO audit and optimization aimed at building my local authority. This included optimizing meta data, header structure, and image tags with the ultimate aim of ranking for “Freelance digital marketer in Calicut.” I also developed and optimized business profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn, applying content calendar with my local client work being emphasized along with overt calls-to-action to promote community growth and push followers to the site.
